Snowboard Classes

Whether you’re brand new to snowboarding or returning to develop your skills, our lessons, set against the backdrop of the Dublin Mountains at our purpose-built slope in Kilternan offer the perfect setting . These classes are designed to help you progress at your own pace in a friendly and supportive environment. With expert instruction, top-quality equipment provided, and a safe learning surface underfoot, the only thing you need to bring is a willingness to try something new.

Beginner Level

If you’ve never snowboarded before, or only had a brief try abroad, this class is where your journey starts. The focus here is on building comfort and control from the ground up. You’ll begin by learning how to use your equipment, finding your balance, and getting used to sliding on the slope. From there, we will work on stopping safely, controlling your speed, and gaining confidence through every turn.

Our beginner sessions are relaxed and welcoming, with instructors trained to work with first-timers. The Snowflex surface, combined with Travellator lifts, offers the perfect introduction to riding without the intimidation of ice or snow. Sessions run on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 8:00 PM, as well as Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM so you can slot them easily into your week.

Improver Level

Once you’re comfortable linking turns and navigating the beginner slope, our Improver class is the next step. These sessions help you refine your technique, develop better edge control, and feel more stable and dynamic on the board. You will work on carving, riding with increased confidence at higher speeds, and managing varied terrain. Instructors offer tailored feedback based on your riding style and goals, helping you take that important leap from basic control to freer, more enjoyable snowboarding.

Improver classes are still group-based but allow for greater progression as you become more independent on the slope. Whether you’re preparing for a ski holiday or just enjoying the rhythm of weekly lessons, this level is all about building flow and unlocking more of what snowboarding has to offer.
